Linux Install: Teamviewer

First you need to download a copy of Teamviewer for linux.

Open a new Terminal and input following syntax:

wget http://www.teamviewer.com/download/teamviewer_linux.deb

(What is wget? Find out here)

For this we will be using the GDebi Package Installer.

To install gdebi using the following syntax:

sudo apt-get install gdebi

(What is sudo? Find out here)

(What is apt-get? Find out here)

Navigate to the same directory you download the .deb file to and run following syntax:

sudo gdebi teamviewer_linux.deb

It will now list the required dependencies. Press Y to install.

 

DONE!
